QUANTITATIVE AND ESTIMATED ESTIMATE
Goals
1. The bill of quantities gives information on the quantities of work to be carried out so that tenders can be established with efficiency, precision and on the same basis;
It makes it possible to provide an estimate which will be used for the periodic evaluation of the work carried out during the execution of the contract.
2. To achieve these objectives, the Works are sufficiently detailed in the Bill of Quantities to allow distinction between different types of Works or between Works of the same nature carried out at different locations or under other circumstances which may give rise to different considerations of cost. In keeping with these requirements, the layout and content of the Bill of Quantities is as simple and concise as possible.
